• Star Book Design — In-house USA designers, mid-range cost. (We will provide a quote using this level.)
• Star Asia Book Production — overseas design, low-cost

Design quotes will be based on review of final manuscript and images. Author’s Alterations are charged at an hourly rate in addition to estimate.

A novel is usually black in throughout (1 color). A coffee table book is usually 4 color process throughout. If the interior pages are 1 color, but there are color photos, select 4 color (process).

COVER WRAP Material (if hardcover)

The cover wrap is the material affixed to the boards of a hardcover book. It is NOT the dust jacket.

DUST JACKET

Hardcover books often have a loose dust jacket to protect the hard case. It is an option. Softcover books seldom have a dust jacket, but that makes it an interesting design option.
