Photography book publishers’ printer

Photography book publishers, what good is it to print photo 1,000 books, and 400 or more arrive poorly printed, or cheaply bound?
We won’t let that happen to self publishers of any genre.
Photography book publishers want books printing at the highest standards. Photographers want well-bound books too. Photography books and high-quality coffee table books are our niche. But, since we are so good at printing the best of the best, we can print anything well.
Star Print Brokers works with photography book publishers who know that we stand behind the books we print. We represent our clients, not our handful of select vendors. If something ever goes wrong, we stand behind the books we print. Since we represent client, and not vendors. We are on your side!
Since all of our work is custom, we offer options that cannot be found at on-demand service providers.
Oversize books are the norm for us.
All of our books are top-quality. We also print large-format, oversize books. While there are some reasons for size limitations, we can print larger books than most printers can offer.
Large quantities don’t scare us.
Whether you are printing 1,000 books or 150,000, we maintain standards. Star Print Brokers has plenty of references to prove that we do a great job for our clients.
Adobe® Photoshop is a key resource for photographers. When we design books, we use Adobe InDesign, but we also use Photoshop. We prefer that photographers convert their own images from RGB to CMYK, but we can certainly do the conversion.
Out clients see a full physical set of digitally output color proofs. The color is very close to what the color will be when the books are printed on press. Press proofs are also an option we provide. The photo conversion is a modest cost. Book design, if needed, is an extra cost and requires a quote. Press proofs are a significant additional cost. But, let’s talk about that. There are ways that we work with our clients to keep costs down.
Distribution.
If you use an on-demand service, do you actually get your book into brick-and-mortar bookstores, or just have access to those bookstores? We want you to know that if you have your own ISBN and barcode, you already have access to brick-and-mortar bookstores. You are in the database.
