We are book print brokers. But, the majority of our business is printing high-quality, reasonably priced books in Asia for authors and self-publishers. Self-publishers should also know that we do not market or distribute books, for good reason. Our minimums are 1,000 hardcover or 2,000 soft cover books. Our company prints on press, and only use the best pre-tested suppliers for printing and binding the best books.
Star Print Brokers prints a ton of coffee table books and photography books annually.
We also print larger runs of one-color books. Black text novels printed at the minimum quantity, are similarly priced or lower cost, when printed on press in the USA, however we provide higher quality than anything we have seen to date. Also, if the book in question is in process color, then our pricing is significantly lower! We print children’s board books too, which is usually hard to find.
As far as going direct, printing in Asia is fraught with problems. There are ordinary printers, and then there are the best. As print brokers, we only use the best. Printing companies can change over time. We constantly reevaluate the vendors we use. After all, is there one printing rep who will say, “We are awful, don’t print your book here?” Obviously not.
We are amazed at how many books we receive to evaluate by overseas printers who think their work is wonderful.
As true professional book print brokers, we can readily see the failed state of such overseas printers, including their printing quality, binding, and materials. We are so confident about our work, that we stand behind the books we print. Star Print Brokers also represents only clients, not printers.

Our staff really knows how to achieve accurate color and sturdy bindings; even lay-flat bindings. Lots of advice is offered if the client is interested. We can also provide book design if needed, as well as fixed-layout ebooks. Star is an authorized agent of ISBN, so we can sell a single ISBN and barcodes. ISBNs are always in the author’s or publisher’s name, not our company’s name. We pay no royalties, as the publisher (who is quite often the author) keeps 100 percent their profit.

Star Print Brokers, Inc. has tons of references and sample books. We will even put clients in touch with authors who had a problem with their books, so they can see how we took care of them. SPB was incorporated in 1999. Much of our business is repeat or word-of-mouth, as we don’t buy (or sell) lists or send out spam emails.
