Decide to print your own books because you can make more profit and have a better quality book. When an author self-publishes, they often try print on-demand. All too often they are disappointed with the quality of the printed book. This is particularly true when it comes to hardcover books, and books with color photography or illustrations.

You will flip over our quality! Get a quote from us, and if you would like to proceed after your review, we will send you a sample book that most closely resembles yours. The reason we do this is because we want our clients to know the total cost involved. Our minimum is 1,000 hardcover books, or 2,000 softcover books.

We provide you with more and better quality books. SPB offers you a lower unit cost. But, (there’s always a “but”) the set-up costs on press including delivery mean that we have minimum print runs. This is for printing overseas. We can also print in the USA, and print a short run of only 500 books. However, we seldom print in the USA generally because of cost and quality issues.

Our unit cost is lower than POD for real ink, that is safe, and traditional printing

If you are coming from a POD print on-demand vendor, you are used to books with a high unit cost as compared to our pricing. But, (there it is again) we print books on press, with real ink and high-quality paper. We don’t output books with toner. Not only is our paper usually heavier in weight, but we offer papers with beautiful finishes.

We offer a choice of paper weights and finishes. We also give your a full set of color proofs before your book is printed and bound. The extra attention to materials, print-quality and detail are wonderful. The bonus is that authors have a lower unit cost, so they make more profit per book than with POD.
