A print book needs to have its own unique number. An ebook needs to have a different number, so you will need two ISBNs. You can buy a single International Standard Book Number and a Bookland EAN Book Barcode directly from us. Also, you can get a pack of 10 numbers can directly from ISBN.org.

Print books with Star Print Brokers and save! We offer a special discount price if you are printing with Star Print Brokers, and need just one number and book barcode. A bar code is not needed for an ebook, just the print book. An ebook still needs a unique number that is different from the book that is printing on press.

A Single ISBN: $125
The International Standard Book Number is for identification your particular title. Your book or ebook is found with this number.
The unique number identification for your title establishes the means by which your book can be identified for distribution throughout global networks.
By using it, bookstores, online stores, libraries, and distributors can find and sell your books. It provides the book or ebook title, author, version, size, and format.
When you have an International Standard Book Number, you can sell your books throughout the USA and also worldwide. If you have a print book and an ebook, they will each need a different number. Only a print book needs a bar code.

Book Bar Code: $25
You will need a book bar code if you are printing books. Ebooks do not need barcodes.
A Bookland EAN book bar code is mandatory in most bookstores. It contains the International Standard Book Number and the retail price of the book. It is easy for bookstores to scan at checkout.
A UPC bar code does not contain the unique number that is important for booksellers, distributors and libraries.
